Is Fiza-Tech really stronger
then systems using hangers or spikes?
Spikes, screws, and hangers are strong, but that strength
only extends a few centimeters to either side of them
on the front of the eavestrough. The spaces between
the spikes/screws/hangers are weak. With Fixa-Tech,
your eavestrough is strong from end to end. There are
no weak spots.
The maximum weight your eavestrough can bear with Fixa-Tech
eavestrough fastening system is 250 lb. per linear foot
(373 kg per linear meter). That's 50% stronger than
with spikes or hangers.
Water
Are there enough holes to keep
your products from overflowing?
Overflow is usually caused by the eavestroughs themselves
(not wide enough or deep enough for the roof surface)
or the downspouts (insufficient number for the roof's
surface). It is important to make sure there are enough
downspouts to avoid this problem. For this purpose,
you need to keep in mind that one downspout is enough
to drain the equivalent of a 600 sq. ft. (56 m2) roof.
In short, if you don't have backflow problems with your
current eavestroughs in heavy rainfalls, the Gutter
Clean System and Fixa-Tech won't create them.
Ice and Snow
How do your products stand up to snow?
The eavestrough fastening system and eavestrough cover
significantly reduce the weight of snow on your eavestroughs.
Since the snow can't get into the eavestroughs, the weight
they have to carry is limited to that which accumulates
on top of gutter cover. What's more, the eavestroughs
remain fully functional so water from melting snow and
ice can drain away freely.
Without the eavestrough fastening system or cover, the
eavestroughs-already clogged with leaves and debris-fill
up with snow and ice, which keeps them from doing their
job and draining water away in spring. Plus they have
to bear more weight.
